air duct cleaning in new home

hello,
i apologise if this question has been asked too many times. What are your opinions in whether to have the air duct cleaned out in a brand new house? we receive alot of coupons for it. From my research it's a mix feeling. Is it a must or no? i appreciate your suggestions. thanks.

If this is a NEW DUCT installation ,then it is NOT necessary at this time to clean out the ducts. UNLESS there is a build-up of DRYWALL DUST (from having the system operating when sanding was being done)they should be clean. Proper maintenance like changing filters, vacuuming rooms, etc, should keep the ducts clean for many years down the road. Hube

how new is the house? we had ours done last year-old house about $300. you might want to look inside one of the duct and see how it looks.
