Hi, I bought a like new MDBH945aww (40372860NC) dishwasher and when searching for a manual I found out there was a problem with fire concerning the heating element. I haven't hooked it up yet, just waiting till the old one quits. A Maytag service man said don't worry about about it if it works all right. Would replacing the heating element fix the problem? Thanks.

I looked at the element and it comes out differently than an ovens.
Is it something I can fix?
There is a sealant that I assume keeps it from leaking.
