Help, please. My icemaker stopped months ago in a three-year old stainless refrigerator. I was told the water pipes underneath it could be frozen. I've tried turning the refrigerator and freezer off for a day and also turned the icemaker button off for many days. Thoughts?

If you post it we can at least look it up to see what appliance design you're dealing with to maybe suggest possible causes.

The water lines inside the fridge would require the internal refrigerator temperatures to rise. That might not occur by just turning it off for 24 hours. The doors might also need to be left open for that duration as well.
