  • Freezer Door Gasket

I am trying to find a freezer door gasket.
Freezer Manufactured by White Consolidated 09/97
    Brand Name "Rich Food"
    Model GFY21D9FW0
    SN. WB7390901
I've looked a bunch to no success.
    Thanks,
    Richard W.

I can find no listing for such a model number. If the model number is actually GFU21D9FW0 (the "U" usually indicating an Upright freezer model) the following door gasket should be the correct one for it.

LINK > GFU21D9FW0 Freezer Door Seal

The 510308 gasket looks to be for a much smaller 12 cu.ft freezer as opposed to your 21 cu.ft. model.

BTW. The link I supplied above displays its rough measurements to compare with the original.

        JFYI

          Gasket advice from Dan O.

Dan O. You were correct regarding the gasket. I received the first gasket and it was about 2/3 the size I needed. I re-red my model number and it was a GFU and not a GFY. I also measured the door gasket (shoulda' done this first) and matched it to the gasket that you recommended. I ordered "your" gasket and installed it with-out a hitch.
          Thanks for your help

That's not usually necessary if ordered using a proper model number.

Glad to hear it. Thanks for the follow up.
