    Whirlpool gold ice maker issues

    I've got a whirlpool gold Model# GT2SHMXMS04 with an ice maker in the freezer. We don't use it very often, but we put the bar down the other night and it failed to release any water into the machine. I can see water in the tubing. I added water to the machine and it freezes, but does not harvest. The temp in the fridge is -5F based on a thermometer in the fridge. There is a faint grinding noise occasionally but i'm not sure where it is coming from. Any ideas what i could do to fix this? Thanks for helping

    I added water to the [icemaker mould] and it freezes, but does not harvest... The temp in the [freezer] is -5F
    That temperature should be Ok for operation of the icemaker. Your symptom could either be caused by no power getting to the icemaker or a problem in the icemaker itself.
