Anybody ever make your own drawers?
I have made many and a couple ways of fastening the sides to the frontpiece don't seem too solid. What I did is to make a long tenon on each side and routed out a slot in the drawer front so that the tenon goes into this. Then using glue and brads nailed them in at an angle through the tenon into the front. Another way I've fastened them is pre-drilling a pilot hole and countersink at an angle and used 3/4" sheetrock screws and screwed them in at this angle. The screw grabs part of the tenon and the drawer front as you tighten up the screws.
