I like this system . seems like the footprint is 20"x30". runs on natgas and comes with a transfer switch. I was wondering is anyone had this model?

I want to install the transfer switch myself; run the gas flex lines with black pipe through the wall myself but let the plumber finish everything else.

My sister-in-law has one at her house in southern NH. She's quite satisfied with it. It's not a whole-house system; the transfer switch only switches over selected circuits. All the manuals are available on Generac's website under support. Use the model No. 005837-0. I found ten different pdf manuals covering all aspects of installation and specs.
