    flourecent ballasts

Need information on how to get components for new flourecent electronic ballast? They are repairable.
The new electronic bulb is expensive and can be repaired.
    Anyone have any experience?

I have never seen a repairable electronic ballast for flouresecents. The new ones are solid state and effectively sealed with epoxy in lieu of the pitch they used in the old ballasts. If this "bulb" you speak about is shot, and you say replacements are expensive, then I guess you're stuck.

Floresceent ballasts are simply a voltage step up transformer converting 120vac to 475 or 600vac. In addition to the transformer some have a solid state current limiter (Thermistor) and all of it is sealed in the enclosure. I am not aware of any ballasts that have field serviceable components inside.
