thermostat wiring

Hi I need to wire my thermostat back up, we took it off and did not write down the letters so i was wondering do you guys know what wire goes in what letter please the thermostat is a general electric weather tron the model number is 57037A i have did a search on yahoo but their were no answers so do any of you guys know how to wire this so we can get this back up and have some heat

Usually the thermostate terminals are labelled by the color code of the standard 18/4 thermotate cable.

R...Red wire...to RC for Air Condition
To RH for heat..
(some thermostates require a jumper from RC to RH.)

G. ... Green wire.........fan relay

W ....White wire.........furnace burner control

Y......Yellow wire....... AC condenser primary voltage relay.

May have a Blue wire for heat pumps...to the reversing valve in the AC condenser unit.
