  • Installing a SINGLE track Light Fixture

I recently saw a track lighting fixture that had exactly the kind of fixture I wanted to mount above a small desk in my shop. Problem is that the track had 3 fixtures on it.. I saw where more fixtures could be added BUT.. what if I only want to install 1 light fixture and not the entire track along with the other 2. Is there a way to do this?

ok, four feet seems like a little excess for one fixture. the tracks that I've worked with have end fittings for terminating a run and fittings for end and center feeds. look into those fitings BEFORE you buy it. if you already bought it look to see if you can remove an end fitting, cut the channel and re-install the terminator. then its probably insert and rotate 90 degrees to install the fixture.
