That looks like either a NEMA 6-15P or a 6-30P. The spacing between the ground pin & the 2 hot pins is different for the 2 types. Check the fryer manual to see what the current draw or the wattage is. It might be simpler to just replace one of your existing 220V outlets with a matching one for this plug. You won't need a neutral; just the black, red, & green wires.

220 V electrical plug question
Our local Veterans Post received a new deep fat fryer (220 volt) with a different type plug attached (shown in picture).. There are several 220 v outlets installed in the kitchen but none look like this.. (1) Is there an adaptor for this type of plug? (2) can an electrician install a different type of plug on the fryer? Just gathering information and what are possibilities before somebody takes it upon themselves to
