Staining Ceramic Tile

Is it possible to stain ceramic tile? I have some in one of the rooms, it's presently a lite shape color already and with a coarse finish, not gloss. If it's possible, what stain should I use.

I've never seen or heard anyone stain ceramic tile...that doesn't mean it hasn't been done, by any means. There are high tech and high priced paints that can do the job. If the tile isn't on the floor(high traffic) it may work. I would suggest going to a store and find some tile as close to what you have and experiment with it. That way, if it doesn't work, you won't have a whole room to replace. Please let us know how it goes and good luck.
