    Floor bounce

    I have 2x10x18' joists that have allot of bounce. I would like to sister steel to each joist instead of wood. I was thinking of 1/8" steel x 18' long. How wide do I need to go? Thanks, John

      You could probably get away with 6 inch wide. Use carriage bolts in a criss cross pattern across the 2X10
