  • The merit of 12mm laminate

    It has the following merit:

    A. The thickness is especially suitable for the following finishes for the purpose of hardwood imitation: pressed or painted V groove(Dimensions:807*126*12mm, 807*90*12mm, 1214*90*12mm,1212*126*12mm), square shape(Dimensions: 600*600*12mm, 500*500*12mm), mould pressed finish(Dimensions:807*126*12mm, 807*143*12mm, 807*163*12mm), UV-shine(Dimensions: 1214*143*12mm, 1214*163*12mm, 1214*193*12.3mm) and hand scraped surface(Dimensions: 1214*126*12mm, 1214*143*12mm).

    B. 12mm is not easy to be curving due its thickness compared with 8mm. So customers will not require thicker planks such as 14mm as thicker planks will lead to higher prices.

    C. The 12mm thickness can reduce much noise because it is not easy to "float" compared with 8mm thick planks. And it is more press resistant due to its thickness.

    D. Its shape is like hardwood plank but the prices are much cheaper than that of hardwood. The price gap between them is often 3 times or even more. What’s more it is much more wear resistant, strong stain resistant and easy to install and care.
