how to use adhesive on indoor outdoor carpet

i am installing indoor outdoor carpeting to my clean concrete lanai...it is a covered area. the company says to only glue around the edges of the carpet... but is there a better way of adhestion? should i put some adhsesive in the middle? is there a pattern i could use? idont want to see bubbles when its humid

the indoor/outdoor has a rubber backing that acts as a waterproofing agent and a pad. it might bubble up - I'd put adhesive in strips the whole length and zig zag wise then put it down.
