cobbled wood floors

Just wondering if any one has any experience with "real" cobbled wood floors? I hear there is a method of making the cobbled wood floor grouting mixture out of its' own sawdust. Has anyone tried this or does anyone know anything about this type of flooring system? Thank-You for your time.
