This depends on how many turns and what kind of static pressure the blower can produce. You should check with the manufacture of the fan. They should have a chart to show the cfm drop for distance and ell in the line. Paul

I looked at some charts and from what I see 6 INCH round smooth duct would work

What I need is the maximum length of the duct work. Want to make sure the inspectors will give it an ok. Where can I find the charts you referenced?
