I have recently moved into a larger co-op apartment building and we are having trouble with the heat. We have steam radiators, not the kind that stand on the floor, but the kind that are against the wall and have are long and narrow. The one in the bedroom smells terrible when the heat comes on, a very strong mold or mildew smell. It is the only one that smells. The heaters are all very old and I was wondering if replacing it would fix the problem or is it most likely a problem with the building's heating system. Thanks.
