bryant funace problem
The stat is just a make -break switch. At you furnace find the two stat wires. If you have a electronic board it would be R and W post. Jump a wire between these to post and see if it fires. If you have the door off you will need to make the door switch. If is does fire then you have a bad stat or wire going to the furnace paulOriginally posted by hooahman2001 View Posthow can u tell if u need to replace the thermostat that operates ur furnace my furnace isn't running at all and I checked the 3 amp fuse inside the furnace the screw in fuse the breaker and ground inside the breaker boxI did forget to clean my permenant filter last year and did that todaybut I just don't know can ne1 help

What is the model number of the furnace, which can be obtained from the rating plate on the furnace. Turn the furnace thermostat down and the power off. Turn on the power at the furnace and describe what happens. Have someone turn up the thermostat and describe in detail what happens at the furnace.

If there is a flame rod in the pilot , you need to take it out and clean it with some sand paper. The flame looks like a nail that the flame burns across.Originally posted by bigjs456 View Posthelp/i have a bryant furnance that start running then shut off then starts back up 4-5 times they it might finish cycle
It may not look dirty, but it will have a film on it so you need to clean it so it will prove flame. Paul
