  • Unable to run test sequence on Payne Furnace

Furnace stopped working. Upon checking noticed the igniter had cracked, so replaced with an OEM igniter. When I restarted the furnace the blower motor started, ran and stopped. The LED indicator light just blinks rapidly indicating the 115 line voltage polarity is reversed. I have not even touched the line voltage. Used a tester and polarity was correct. Then I reversed anyway just to see if that would correct the problem. It did not, so changed back to the way it was originally.

is this blower the induced draft? check out the sail switch for being open during run.

Unable to run test sequence Payne Furnace

No, it is not the inducer motor. It is the supply air blower and the LED indicator light blinks rapidly continually. Unable to run test sequence using the common and test terminals.
