I have collected 3 quotes on replacing my 19 year old AC system. One of the contractors who was the lowest bidder (lower by 13%) quoted the following:
Carrier 24ABB336A003 13 SEER Puron AC
Payne PF4MNA037T00 Fan Coil with ECM blower motor
When I asked why a Payne coil rather than Carrier, the answer was that this unit is cheaper but equivalent quality to Carrier.
Does anyone have opinions on this combination?
Does anyone have experience with Payne fan coils?
