  • York Furnace help

I am in desperate need of help
I have a york furnace LP model #p2udd10p05701a made in 1988
It needs a smart valve so they call it.
It has a White Rogers 36e01-248 valve on it. (6 wires)
For some reason i can not find an original replacement for it
What i have is a universal White Rogers 36h32-304.(3 wires)
I can not find anyone that can figure out how to wire it.
I have looked at the directions and it is greek to me.
Or i would be interested in buying an OEM valve ???
    Thanks you

    Gas Valve

Here's a HVAC supplier selling a universal valve on eBay. Maybe you could contact them and find out how to wire it. White Rodgers Furnace Gas Valve 36E01 244 245 248 253 | eBay A web search for your type valve didn't bring up any hits.

                valves

both valves you got listed say "proven pilot." Neither one of them have a red "pilot" valve. Your original does.
The valve I found and its listed stock number, by Honeywell, says "smart-valve."
The pdf diagram shows its connections to the spark, pilot, and flamerod sensor.
Two wires are used on the solenoid to actuate the valve.
Take a look at "my" supplier valve.
