First Heat pump repair??????????????????

Call for no a/c, Get there tonight and 8 degree temp difference on return air and supply air, Shut unit down in case its frozen and clean condenser, a/c coil and replace filter. Put gauges on unit and turn system on, 245 psi high side and 75 on low side check air and 15 degree temp difference on air flow. Unit says to let run for 20 minutes to let system balance and while Im waiting the low side slowly goes down to 10 psi and high side increases 25 psi and super heat climbs way up and sub cooling is high, Cant figure out why it starts out good then slowly goes down

Any Ideas, Bad txv valve, Moisture in system,

check the reversing valve. someone had a similar problem but his kept on blowing out the control transformer.
the wiring that goes internal to the valve rubbed against the shell and kept on shorting out. the valve never made it open or closed all the way.
