    Will a fin comb be useful?

    Will a fin comb help straighten the fins on the evaporator of this window air conditioner? It looks like there are about 20 fins per inch. Thank you.

      wouldn't harm it! yes, it would help. purpose of the fins is to help diffuse the air flowing through it.
