Window A/C Leaking

I have a window air conditioner that is leaking water onto my carpet. How can I fix that so I don't have to go out and buy a new A/C unit?

Check the Unit's drain pan for a clogged drain tube.Also, check for proper slope to drain pan.. Hube

Thanks so much for the response. Where can I find the unit's drain pan?

You dont say if the AC can slide out of the case. If it can pull it out to clean the drain runs out. If you cant see them from the outside you will have to pull the whole cover case off of it to get to the small drain pipes or groves in the bottom of the AC. Like was said it does tilt to the out side dont it.
