Coleman Suncutter heat pump

On "heat" the outside fan does not come on, but it sends out a lot of heat? Is this normal? This is a single stage unit made for mobile homes.

Any help appreciated.

Lost here can it be in defrost??? When its in heat the fan should be on and it should blow cold air outside and warm air inside. Id call a hvac service guy to look at it. When you first go to heat there the fan outside and inside should be on

the heat pump is like a standard a/c with one exception. There's a reversing valve in the freon line. at one point the evaporator is an evaporator at the other it is like the condensor and gives up heat. check to see that is working first!
