after replacing the what was once thought to be defective gas valve, using a high impedence volt meter, we find when lit initially 24 volts then down to nothing. but 17 volts constant when not lit ? any comments ? suggustions ??

Has anyone had an occurrence of a Laser 730 or 731 over firing?
The top of the heat chamber and the heat exchanger glow red on high when this occurs....
