    Janitrol fan rumble

    Janitrol fan is rumbling during opperation. After 2 to 3 times fan not working at all.Unit is a straight cool. 3 yrs old. Fan motor bad? Run capasitor bad? HELP!

    Some "rumbling" noises can be the result of a bad bearing in the fan/motor. What do you mean after 2-3 times?? 2-3 cycles?? 2-3 rumbles? Please send more info. Hube

      works fine for 3 to 4 min. then rumbles works again 3 to 4 min. rumbles then stops altogether. Have switched fan control to ON instead of auto and NO RUMBLING. I think it might be OLD T STAT.

        When you switch to FAN ON on the thermostat, this puts the fan on, but usually at a higher RPM.(SPEED Hube
