Payne in the butt Split system

Today, I keep hearing the fan in my Payne Heat pump/AC split system unit (inside unit) cycle on for about 15 seconds and then off for about a minute, even after I turned the unit off on the thermostat control. It is about 5 years old. It finally quit, but now I have water dripping out of the front of the unit drain tube (i assume)....any clue?

I don't know about the cycling of the fan. But it sounds like your condenstion line needs to be blown out with an air compressor.
