I'm installing an Aprilaire 400 humidifier onto a Comfortmaker rpj II furnace. I don't want to connect the 24vac transformer up wrong. Can anyone tell me which terminals it gets connected to?

Has anyone had an occurrence of a Laser 730 or 731 over firing?
The top of the heat chamber and the heat exchanger glow red on high when this occurs....
