What would cause my Carrier electric furnace to make a whirling turbine noise?

Check for air leaks around the doors and panels on the unit. Is your filter clean?
Is this something that just started? Have you changed the blower motor?
Are most of the registers open? Is your blower blowing hard or a soft flow.
If it is a new unit, have you taken a temp. rise across the unit from return air
to hot air? Your owner book should tell you what the temp. rise should be. The reason i ask this is any unit is made with 3 or 4 speeds to match up to different
applications and if a blower it running to fast for the size of the duct system
it is on, then it can pulse-sate and make noise. Later Paul
