  • furnace leaking water in back

it is a bryant 90 plus. it is showing a code 31. it is also leaking what looks like rusty water out of the 2 corners of the rear of the furnace. the furnace runs normal but the flames will just go out and that is when the code 31 shows up. any ideas thanks.

How old is the furnace? Take doors off and look for trouble shooting charts
so you can tell use what a code 31 is. Is code 31 a plugged Drain. A plugged drain makes for leaks and pressure switch will turn furnace off. If the furnace is old enough you could have a leak in the secondary heat exchanger. Let hope is is the drain. Take the hoses off where they inter the furnace , see if the ports are all open and hoses clear. Check all drain Lines. Paul
