Hi Fordman and others, I have an issue with my 422. I replaced the burner matt- gaskets, burner pot, flame rod and ignitor were all in great shape. On startup after rebuild it shows a great blue flame , but i can here the fuel pump making a faint ticking noise. When it jumps to high burner status the pump the starts making a louder ticking/thumping noise for about a minute or two and the heater shuts down. I have cleaned both filters but still no luck. do you suspect dirty fuel? I bought this second hand and don't know its history. Thanks. Lee
