KWH124 on demand hot water heater

Anyone have any experience with the Monitor KWH124 instantaneous Kerosene fired water heater?

Been given one that is supposed to be a working unit but I have no working knowledge of them...

I have a pair of them. I have not set them up however. The biggest problem with setting these up I have seen is the flow setting. IE if you are not pulling enough hot water through it it won't turn on. In that case I believe turning down the temperature helps. It can also fluctuate between seasons so you may have to alter the settings then.

It helps to have a 40 gal. Fiberglass "Temper" tank in-line on the feed to the water heater. it evens out seasonal water temp variations.
