M422 exhaust smell & kerosene leak?

Hi all,

I have an M422 in my basement/garage. In the last few days, it's started smelling like exhaust and also the bottom tray has filled with kerosene. Any idea what would cause both these symptoms?

the heat exchanger's first fin has a ceramic fiber gasket. the exhaust tube has a silicone O ring. your constant level adjustment is out of whack. the inlet from the tank is loose.
