Toilet Leaking From Tank Into Bowl

I have a toilet that is leaking from the tank into the bowl so that it flushes itself every 1/2 hour or so. I've replaced the flapper but that didn't stop it. I turned off the water to see how low the water level got in the tank and it stops leaking above the flapper, so the flapper is not the problem. Where else could the leak come from if there's no leaking under the tank, it all goes into the bowl?

seems like the fill valve is leaking if you are feeling adventurous, go to your local hardware or big box store and ask for someone that actually has plumbing knowledge.
they should be able to get you the correct replacement parts and you should be able to replace it yourself with minimal problems. there is basic info at fluidmaster dot com you may have some debris in the valve itself but you should find great info there
