Water noise

the down pipe for the sweage water is going through my kitchen walls. Everytime the toilet is flushed we hear a big noise of the water gushing through the pipe. any advice on how we can reduce these water noise

While you may have some limited success by wrapping the pipes with insulation there really is not much than can be done.
