    Instead of PEX

What's the downside to using the black poly material over PEX as the supply from an outdoor woodburner? THe black poly has a burst at 160 psi, and the wood burner has a pressure of around 5 or 10 psi. However, the operating temp of the wood burner runs between 160 and 190*'s. THe PEX gets 'supple' at that temp, am wondering how 'supple' the black poly would get. Plan to do an experiment soon.... any suggestions, ideas, comments?

come off the wood burner with copper then switchover to the pex. evidently the heat's got something to do with the failure of the pex.
