Low hot water pressure

I have recently been experiencing the odd days of low water pressure and it has dropped a slow as a trickle today. I have all my plumbing aceesories in the loft. The main water tank feeds into a smaller tank which has hardly any water in it and the ball cock is set very low....not sure if it usually has lots of water in it or not as don't spend too long looking at it!!

From your description is sounds like you have some type of a gravity flow system. Could you give us a bit more information on the layout?
