    Drain size

    What is the proper size for the shower drain? And what is the proper size for Kitchen sink?
    Bathroom sink?

    I assume you the drain size request you mean the actual PVC pipes.

    The shower drain should be 2" and the kitchen sink should be 1 1/2", the vanity sink can be either 1 1/4" or 1 1/2. ( 1 1/2" is the better option).

      2" is the correct size for the shower drain however the sink drain line would depend upon which code you are under.

      Under the IRC (International Residential Code) a kitchen sink requires an 1-1/2" drain line.

      Under the UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code) a kitchen sink waste arm (the section extending out of the wall) should be 1-1/2" but all concealed piping in the wall must be 2".
