What should be put into the seam between the wall tile and bathtub ? My contractor used the wall tile grout, but it is getting very wet, and darkens, after I take a shower and small amount of water accumulates at the edge of the bathtub.

My Preference would be Polyseamseal Caulk.I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Did you know some Redwood Pipe is still in service today. -
because grout, even when it hardens will wick up water behind the tile I would use a silicone caulk or a white hardening caulk between the lowest edge and the tub. caulk is flexible, grout is not.Comment
