  • Seam between bathtub and wall tile

What should be put into the seam between the wall tile and bathtub ? My contractor used the wall tile grout, but it is getting very wet, and darkens, after I take a shower and small amount of water accumulates at the edge of the bathtub.

My Preference would be Polyseamseal Caulk.
I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
    Now I can Plumb!

Did you know some Redwood Pipe is still in service today.

because grout, even when it hardens will wick up water behind the tile I would use a silicone caulk or a white hardening caulk between the lowest edge and the tub. caulk is flexible, grout is not.

Yep, that grout between tile and tub is going to crack and fall out eventually.
