  • Installing New Shower Door

I am going to remove an old sliding shower door in a fiberglass shower enclosure and install a new door. QUESTION.. When I remove the old unit, there will be holed in fiberglass where the screws went in.. What should I fill these holes with before mounting the new track and wall jambs? Will silicone in the goles be enough or maybe fill them with epoxy? What to professionals do? Using the same old holes for the new parts is not an option as the screws used have pulled out (striped fiberglas) on several occasions..

Use a good quality 100% silicone caulk, as the old holes will be behind the new aluminum frame, feel free to use plenty of caulk to cover any cracked parts of the holes.
