Copper pipe pressure...
There's a thread on another forum where a fellow wants to use copper pipe for a garage air line. Locating the compressor in a corner, routing a rubber line to the solid copper. The solid copper would run along a wall and then a hose reel attached to that end. Would regular copper and it's typical soldered fittings and the solder joint itself be okay with pressures that could be as high as 140#'s? Or would silver solder be better? Or would just iron pipe be the way to go?Tags: None
