    Painting MDF with semi-gloss enamel , which filler would be best for this ?

    What exactly are you filling? Nail holes? Epoxy? Bondo? Seriously? Honest question here. If its nail holes, simple shrink free spackle would be fine, light sand for a flush finish.

      I think the best wood filler/repair product is the epoxy stuff you get in a caulk tube set-up from most paint stores, I forget what it is called, just go into the local SW and ask about it.

        Water-Based Wood Filler:

        Wood Dough/Plastic Wood:
        Best For: Interior projects, holes, minor imperfections.
        Advantages: Quick drying, can be stained or painted, available in various wood tones.
        Wood Putty:
        Best For: Small repairs, finishing.
        Advantages: Quick drying, easy to apply, suitable for finishing touches.​
