I have a house. When i bought it it was 40 years old and it came with the original windows. I want to replace my windows. So i can see outside as you can see it has the rectangular look. Is there any way to remodle my windows something cheap? This is asbestos siding. Can i cut this type siding? I want the height of the windows to cut about 2 more feet long? Please help!! Don't even think about cutting the siding. At the time of installation asberstos wasn't even thought of hazardous - now it is! The compressed sheets are contained, but cutting it causes a friable dust - hazardous dust EPA rated no no dust!
cutting it, removing it comprises a complete asbestos abatement project - we're talking BIG BUCKS! -
