    garage door problem

When i put my garage door up recently it seems to "buck" while going up through the track, i tryed oiling the chain, the track and the wheels that run inside the track from the garage door, but none of this solved the problem. Any suggestions?

is it possible that your tracks are not aligned properly? Or maybe there is a dent in one of the tracks.

Check the linkage arm that attaches to the door to see if it is loose. If it is loose it will shift under load and put the lifting mechanism in a bind.

I found that if the counterbalance springs are not tensioned evenly, the door will shift to one side as it goes up or down. Both tracks have to be straight from the back, through the curve and down to the floor.

All three 'items' have to be parallel. Not only both tracks, but that center piece with the motor, too. it should be parallel, preferably centered, to the two tracks. Is this a roll up?
