I have a concrete walkway that has developed a crack across it... Now that cold weather is approaching I have a question.. Would it do any good to try to fill the crack before any more water gets into it and then freezes or am I to late for that and best to wait to fill the crack next summer when things are warmer and dryer?

Is the crack big? Why did the walk crack? lack of re-bar in the slab or did the ground shift and settle? if the crack in hazardous you could make a patch with a latex concrete binder or use a hydraulic cement to plug the crack. hydraulic cement expands when it cures. regular mortar will contract slightly.
