    Check while disconnected from power

If the dishwasher continues to fill with water even while unplugged from power, the water valve (see the following link) is stuck open and likely needs to be replaced.

If filling with water does stop when power is disconnected from the machine, some part(s) of the control system would need to be investigated. That however is unlikely as both the control and the float/overflow prevention switch would both need to be malfunctioning to result in overflowing.

two ideas come to mind. the timer is stuck at the inlet cycle. the valve is faulty.
go to "repairclinic dot com" - find your model and find parts.

Our Dishwasher is flooding our kitchen. The water from the water inlet valve does not stop letting water in. Had to turn the water off to stop the water from flowing. Any suggestions?
