    Cement Board - Durock

I need to cut a piece of either Hardibacker / Cement Board / Durock into a 30 inch circle... Has anybody had any experience cutting this material either with a power jigsaw, or Sawzall with a course blade? Looking for suggestions, ideas on how to accomplish this.

cement board is difficult to cut by any means - a sawz-all blade with silicon carbide chips on it will do the trick.

I would like to add to HayZee's reply. When using power tools to cut
Hardibacker or Durarock backer board you should use a dust mask
because of the silica used in the manufacturing process. Eye protection
      is a must also.

        2cents

my two cents is .. if it is 1/4 inch cut it with a shop knife and punch it out w/ a hammer. at least that is what i did.
